			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: left;">Ellabell-  Ms. Patsy Pauline McLamb Orren Bush, age 56 passed away Wednesday September 1, 2010 at her home after an extended illness.  Ms. Bush was born January 12, 1954 in Savannah and was a resident of Rincon before moving to Ellabell over 22 years ago.  She was a 1972 graduate of Effingham County High School, retired from Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. with over 15 years of service and attended Black Creek Holy Church of God.  She was preceded in death by her father, L.S. McLamb, Sr.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Survivors include her mother Belle L. McLamb of Ellabell; son Phillip N. Orren, Jr. and daughter-in-law Malett, son Samuel James Bush III and daughter-in law Tamara both of Ellabell;  three sisters Darlene Cason of Ellabell, Pamela McGhee of Tampa, FL and Cassy (Gene) Davis of Pembroke; one brother Lewis “Buddy” (Angelique) McLamb, Jr. of Ellabell; 9 grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and long time friend John Thomas of Ellabell. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Visitation will be 2-6 P.M. Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010 at the funeral home.  Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Monday Sept. 6, 2010 in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home with Pastor Stanley Tyson and Rev. James P. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-467" title="scan0001" src="http://flandersmorrisonfuneralhome.com/manage/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/scan0001-150x150.jpg" alt="scan0001" width="150" height="150" />Ellabell-  Mr. Robert “Bob” Lester Cohen age 65 of Ellabell died Tuesday evening August 31, 2010 at his residence.  Mr. Cohen retired as staff sergeant from the U.S. Army with over 20 years of service as an aviation mechanic.  He also was an auto mechanic for 25 years at M &amp; M Motors in Savannah and was manager at A-1 Auto Rentals in Hinesville.  Mr. Cohen enjoyed old movies, John Wayne in particular and classic rock.</p>

<p>Survivors include his wife of over 45 years Pat Cohen of Ellabell; daughters Patti Olsen of Sylvania and Katti Lamberd of Meldrim; one son Rob Cohen of Ellabell; and 5 grandchildren Sean Lamberd II, Gideon Lamberd, Skylar Olsen, Brenden Olsen and Kayla Olsen.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>A memorial service will be held 11 A.M. Saturday Sept. 4, 2010 at St. Paul’s Lutherian Church in Stateboro with Pastor Sam Clay officiating.</p>

Black, Jr. age 64 died Saturday morning, Aug. 14, 2010. Rev. Black was a native and long-time resident of Chatham County before moving to Ellabell seven years ago. Black volunteered his time service as a chaplain for both the Savannah Police Department and Candler Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde W. and Mary Black and son Patrick Willis Black.</span></span></p>
<p>Survivors include his wife of 38 years Frances C. Black of Ellabell, daughter Patricia A. Black of Ellabell, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws Bernadette C. and Dana C. Strickland of Midway and James Cole III and Shirley Cole of Tennessee and one niece Megan Cole of Tennessee.</p>
<p>Visitation will be held 6-8 P.M. Monday August 16, 2010 at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held 10 A.M. Tuesday at Northside Cemetery in Pembroke. Father Ed Gorny will be officiating. In leiu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Clyde W. Black Cancer Fund at the Heritage Bank, 16 Railroad Street, Pembroke, GA 31321 Flanders Morrison Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: left;">Pembroke-  Mr. William Lewis “R.L.” Conley, age 67 died Tuesday Aug. 10, 2010 at his home.  Mr. Conley was a lifelong resident of Pembroke and never left Pembroke except for a two year tour of duty during the Vietnam War.  During his time in Vietnam, he received the Bronze Star.  Mr. Conley later retired from the National Guard with 16 years of service and over 20 years of service with the Department of Transportation where he was a  heavy equipment operator.  He was an honest and modest man with a heart of gold.  Mr. R.L. enjoyed painting; loved country music, old western movies and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church for over 40 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents William and Maggie Conley and sister Gail Conley Lanier all of Pembroke.</p>

<p>Survivors include one daughter Lynn Smith; two grandchildren Cheyanne Smith and David Sikes all of Maryland;   two brothers and sister in laws Vincent and Dannis Conley of Pembroke and Benny and Pat Conley of Augusta; four sisters and two brother-in-laws Julia Ennis of Pembroke, Betty Gibson of Claxton, Alice and Mike Van Buren of Atlanta,  Mary and Eugene Howard of St. Mary’s; best friend E. Billy Miles of Pembroke, and many nieces and nephews.  A heart-felt thank you goes to family friends Laverne and Gene Scott, Shirley Wallace, Gene and Kim Hartman and family, and the caregivers at Ogeechee Area Hospice.</p>

<p>Visitation will be held 6-9 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.  Funeral service will be 11 A.M. Thursday Aug. 12, 2010 at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home with Elder Spencer Moore officiating.  Interment will be in Beulah Baptist Cemetery.  Flanders Morrison Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.</p>

<p>Pembroke-  Mr. Donald Radford Johnson, age 81 died Saturday Aug. 7, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Hospital after an extended illness.  Mr. Johnson was veteran of the U. S. Army having served during the Korean War.  He was a chemical operator with the Hercules Corporation of Savannah having retired with over 33 years of service.  Mr. Johnson was a life-long member of First Baptist Church of Pembroke, served as a deacon and was the treasurer for the Adult Men’s Sunday School Class.  Mr. Johnson was an avid gardener, woodsman and enjoyed singing, dancing and swimming.  He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Anna Johnson.</p>

<p>Survivors include his wife of 55 years Jean Hope Johnson; four sons and three daughter-in-laws David Johnson of Pembroke,  Andrew and Alesha Johnson of Jenkinsburg,  Rad and Mae Johnson  and Greg and Shiela Johnson of Pembroke; one sister Martha Nelson of Claxton; 6 grandchildren Beth Hillard, John “Bubba” R. Johnson, Jr., Joy Marie, Johnathan, Bethany and Nathanel Johnson; and two great grandsons Wyatt Fields and Ryan Hillard</p>

Hewitt age 76 died Saturday, July 31, 2010 under the care of Hospice Savannah while surrounded by his family.  Mr. Hewitt was a forester and was the woodlands manager for Bradley Dixie Companies for the past 30 years.  He was retired from Seaboard Coastline Railroad, Union Bag/Camp Paper Company and also Georgia Pacific.  Mr. Hewitt was a U. S. Army Veteran having spent 18 months in Germany.  He was a graduate of Plains High School of Plains, GA and also earned degrees in surveying and engineering and forestry and forest harvesting technology at Savannah Technical School.  Mr. Hewitt was a member of the Georgia Forester Association, Forest Farmers Association, member of Mill Branch Hunting Club, and a life-time member of both North American Hunting Club, North American Fishing Club and long-time member of the Holy Church of God.   Mr. Hewitt loved to sing and sang bass for a number of groups over the years.  He loved fishing but his passions were turkey hunting and his family.</p>

<p>Survivors include his wife of 50 years Lois W. Hewitt of Pembroke; one daughter and son-in-law Jeanine H. and Darryl Stewart of Black Creek; one brother Red Hewitt of Pendergrass, GA; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law April Parker Shuman and Brandon Shuman of Black Creek and several nieces and nephews.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-438" title="scan0177" src="http://flandersmorrisonfuneralhome.com/manage/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/scan0177-150x150.jpg" alt="scan0177" width="150" height="150" />Pembroke-  Mr. Craig Hudson Ward, age 51 died Sunday, July 4, 2010 in Elizabeth, NJ after a brief illness.  Mr. Ward was an electrician for many years, was a member of the Baptist Faith and was an avid fisherman.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Regina Lynn Ward and two brothers Chris and Frankie Ward.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Survivors include his wife of 28 years and caregiver Jan Morgan of Pembroke; son Jason Ward of Pooler; daughters Wendy Strickland of Ellabell and Mistie Strickland of Pembroke, and 7 grandchildren.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Visitation will be held 1-3:30 P.m. Friday July 9, 2010 at the funeral home.  Graveside services will be held 4 P.M. Friday at Red Hill Cemetery in Bulloch County with Pastor Stan Tyson officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made in memory of Mr. Ward to Mistie Strickland c/o Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.<strong>  </strong>Flanders Morrison Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.</p>
